The Incredible Hulk (inspired by true events!)

His name is Joey. He’s on the Real World Hollywood.

A quote: In the months since his time in the house, Joey’s watched footage of that all-night bender and has no recollection of any of it. It’s like seeing someone else. “I don’t know where that guy comes from,” he says, “that monster that came out.”

But seriously, has there ever been a movie on the verge of making $100 or so million that I’ve been less excited to see?

I was going to post photos of the 2003 version vs. the 2008 version to prove how horrible the CGI for the 2008 version looks. But this person already did that. And the 2003 CGI somehow looks far superior.

It seems odd to me that even though the 2003 version grossed over $100 million at the American box office,t hey still found it necessary to reboot completely and try to pretend it never happened. It happened. And if this one reclaims the bad spin it had a couple of weeks ago (which could happen right around Saturday) it will be hilarious.

If no one sees a movie does it really exist?

Oh…maybe I meant this one.

By the way, Dolph Lundgren (aka Ivan Drago) = far superior to Thomas Jane (aka Mickey Mantle).

I still haven’t seen “Indiana Jones and the Magic School-bus of a sub par Adventure” and at this point I don’t think I ever will.

But there seems to be a giant lack of good Summer movies early on. This weekend I had the choice of seeing “Kung Fu Panda” or “The Strangers” (which has a HORRIBLE COP OUT ENDING…so its like a pointless shitty version of “Funny Games” done softly and stupidly). I chose to sleep instead.

It seems odd that I’m really looking forward to movies like “Pineapple Express”, “Tropic Thunder” and “Wall*E” (which, based on trailers, has no discernible plot whatsoever) this Summer.

The only Summer blockbuster I am legitimately excited for is “The Dark Knight”. Which will clean up.

  1. Hello My Name Is R.A. Grimes and I am a novice animator. I did a 2 minute short called Dark Knight: The Last Laugh. I used the vocal talents of AL Pacino as the Dark Knight and Robert DeNiro as the Joker, it comes from the infamous scene in Heat.It took countless days to finish, but it is my proudest pieces, I hope you enjoy it enough to share it on your blog.
